The other upcoming series, of course, is DragonFate, which will feature my Pyr dragon shifter heroes again. I don’t want to talk too much about this until you’ve had a chance to read Firestorm Forever—but once you have, you’ll have met the new villain who threatens the survival of the Pyr. You’ll also have learned more about Theo, the current leader of the Dragon Legion, and it won’t surprise you that he takes charge of this quest to ensure the future of his kind.
This series will be a bit tricky, as it has to bridge between Dragonfire and the Dragon Diaries in terms of the timeline, but I’m looking forward to it. Compiling the Dragonfire Companion, Here Be Dragons, which will be published in November, will certainly help with that.
The first book in the DragonFate series will be called Hot Blooded. (I know that there are already dragon shifter romances out there with this title, but it’s so perfect for the book that I’m going with it anyway.) There will be a longer downloadable excerpt once I have a cover and a couple of buy links—I want to write a bit more of it before doing that. In the meantime, you can read the excerpt here (if you haven’t already read it in the back of Firestorm Forever.)

Will Here Be Dragons be up for preorder at Amazon in print edition?

Yes, 2muchreadinglind. All of my books will go up for pre-order in both print and digital at Amazon, but not until the final files are completed. There have been some issues this summer with the wrong files being delivered to readers on the on sale date at both Amazon and B&N, so I’m only going to give either portal the final book file. That will avoid mistakes! Look for those links to be live about two weeks before the on sale date. Remember that the print pre-order for my books at Amazon has only been available on Amazon.com so far – it perks through to .de and .co.uk after the on sale date, as well as to other portals like B&N and the Book Depository – although that could change by November. 🙂
