The King of Incendium, Ouros, has twelve beautiful and fiery daughters, each one a dragon-shifter, by his wife and queen, Ignita. Ouros is imperial blue and gold in his dragon form, and commanding, no matter which form he takes. Ignita is mauve and blue, ethereal in appearance, but don’t be fooled. She has a will of iron but has learned to get her way with charm.

Meet their daughters, from oldest to youngest:

• Drakina
Oldest and most like her father, Drakina is not a diplomat. The entire plan of the royal houses has gone awry because she killed her former betrothed Canto, the crown prince of Regalia, after he stood her up at the altar. Drakina agrees to travel to Earth to seduce her destined mate, making a wager with her father that will ensure her freedom after the crown prince is conceived. Unbeknownst to the dragons of Incendium, Drakina is stepping into a trap, for the Terran in question is a MindBender contracted to kill her in exchange for his freedom. Drakina and Troy’s story is Wyvern’s Mate.

• Gemma
Engaged to the crown prince Urbanus of Regalia, Gemma knows that her fiancé was the one to try to arrange Drakina’s assassination. She intends to keep the betrothal and take vengeance upon Urbanus from inside his palace. She’s not counting on more dark revelations about her betrothed, much less his beguiling charm. Alone in Urbanus’ palace, Gemma can only rely upon herself to ensure her survival—or can she trust the mysterious hunter who pledges to aid her, for his own reasons? Gemma’s story is Wyvern’s Prince.
