The Prometheus Project

The Eyes of the Republic are everywhere…

This series of urban fantasy romances are set in a gritty dystopian future. They feature heroes who are fallen angels, who have voluntarily shed their wings in a quest to save humanity. They should be read in order as there are ongoing story threads that carry through the entire series. When the original trilogy was republished in new editions, I added a fourth book to the series.

These books were originally published as Claire Delacroix books. They are now Deborah Cooke books.

I wrote the first three of these books at roughly the same time as the first three Dragonfire Novels, so you could read this series before that one or after it. They’re set in the distant future, so in terms of chronology, you could read them after all my other PNR, but I would read them sooner than that. I like these fallen angels and since angels are unconstrained by mortal time, they sometimes appear in other series. Bond, in Wyvern’s Angel, is another of my fallen angels and another appears at the beginning of Maeve’s Book of Beasts. You’ll be more likely to recognize them if you read this series sooner rather than later.
