I am with you about the colours. While it is fantastic as it is, if I were to make it again, I would probably aim for vibrant colours but not such busy patterns.
I LOVE the vibrancy of this quilt! It is exactly something I would like to work on if I had the time. The intricate nature of the fabric is something I could get lost in by looking at it. It would be interesting to see this completed the second way you mentioned. I think it would be intersting to see the differences.
Oh, I think it could easily be made bigger. I followed the pattern this time, but it’s easy to see how the piecing works. It would just require more blocks. 🙂
You know, Anita, there was extra fabric from the kit, because the cuts were generous. If I hadn’t sliced it all up to try to make a border, I could have made more blocks to make the quilt bigger. Too bad I didn’t think of that in time!
