I came home from RTC to find my garden coming into bloom. Some of the daffodils are out, as well as the blue squill, but here’s one of my faves – the hellebores.
Aren’t they pretty?

My daffodils have bloomed and died this month. The poppies are starting to bloom and the crab apple tree is blooming, too! Love your Hellebores!

Poppies already, Chris?! My perennial poppies are coming up, which is very good news. I moved them last fall and was worried the roots had broken too much. They’re tough, though.

Wow Stacey. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a jasmine bush. I can imagine that the flowers smell wonderful!

My tulips and jonquils have already come and gone. I unfortunately can’t plant bedding plants because of the Squirrels, but I planted my wild flower seeds and my landscaping knock-out-roses have buds so it won’t be long. I do have some lovely dandelions in the lawn that my husband can’t kill fast enough 🙂 I’ve never heard of Hellebores Deb but they’re gorgeous!

The common name for hellebores is Christmas Rose, Deb. I guess somewhere (not in Canada!) they bloom in December.
We had fresh snow this morning, so the daffodils are rethinking this blooming thing….
