When I was down in NYC at the end of October, I did a lot of walking. I love to walk in cities, and NYC is great for incidental discoveries. Here’s something I found this time – it’s a street called Library Way, which leads to the library. Embedded in the sidewalk at regular intervals are brass plaques, celebrating books and authors. There are a lot of them, so I’ll post them in batches this week – that will also give you a little more time to think about each one.
