It’s been a little quiet on this side of my desk this year (Delacroix has been busier) but I like to celebrate all the successes. Here we go!

This year, I created new omnibus editions of The Dragon Diaries, my paranormal YA trilogy, both for retailers and a special edition that is available only from me (at events or Kickstarter).
I also published new print editions in trade paperback for the individual books in the trilogy – Flying Blind, Winging It and Blazing the Trail – and ran a Kickstarter campaign to launch them all.
I had some new translations to publish: Winter Kiss, Whisper Kiss and Harmonia’s Kiss are now all available in Spanish editions. (I just received the Spanish translation of Darkfire Kiss so it’s ready to be formatted, too.)
Just One Hometown Hero and Two Weddings & a Baby are now available in Italian, as is Dragon’s Mate.
Given the timelines of publishing, not all the work I did this year is visible to you yet. Some of it is coming your way in 2025.

For example, I have a Kickstarter campaign in preview for the next Darkfire Chronicles book, Kiss of Twilight. I’ll launch that once the book is written, so it won’t be as early as planned. I have a slot booked with a cover designer to create that shiny book, so look for the campaign in summer.

I’ve been researching a new contemporary romance series and writing it, too – the pre-order for Just Trouble is up for February delivery. I’m just loving this series and characters. There is an alternate illustrated cover for this book, and a longer sample available for download from BookFunnel.
I set up a store, and took it down again. (That endeavor wasn’t such a success. Boo.) I also updated the theme on this website. Behind the scenes, I’ve been restructuring my day so I have more time to write, which is the most exciting development of all. I’ve also started to schedule signing events in 2025 – you’ll find them all listed here.
My watchword for this year was Prepare and I think I’ve done a reasonably good job with that. There are alway experiments that succeed and some that don’t work out as well. I learned a lot this year!
I’m excited to dive into 2025 – and wish you and yours all the best for a healthy and prosperous new year. 🙂
