This year has been a wild ride. I’m looking forward to tallying it all up in this post today. 🙂
New Releases
I wrote my usual amount this year, which is always a cool thing. I published three full-length books and two novellas this past year. (I’ve also written a lot of words for books that will be published next year, including most of The Hunter & the Heiress.)
A Most Inconvenient Earl is odd – it’s both published and on pre-order, since it was published in the anthology Twelve Lords for Christmas and is available for pre-order on its own for March.)
Then there were new boxed sets published of existing content:
Plus I was thrilled to participate in this multi-author boxed set of Regency Christmas romances, Twelve Lords for Christmas. Because this bundle has done so well, we’re going to do another together next year – so Esmeralda Ballantyne will have her story told, too!
I also put my medieval romances into Kindle Unlimited.
I regained all of the rights to my YA trilogy, The Dragon Diaries, and published my editions in all markets.
I also published one new audiobook in 2021 – the narration of The Wolf & the Witch by the amazing Tim Campbell.
I don’t even want to think about the translations! 2021 was insane for them. (The links below will take you to the relevant translation page on my websites.) Let’s see: in Spanish, I published Claire’s The Champions of St. Euphemia, The Jewels of Kinfairlie and most of the True Love Brides, as well as Flatiron Five Tattoo and most of Flatiron Five Fitness. I’m in the midst of publishing the first Flatiron Five Fitness book in Portuguese and there’s an Italian translation on the way, too.
There were also Spanish editions of three of the DragonFate novels. There were Italian editions of two of the DragonFate Novels and The Renegade’s Heart, as well as Portuguese editions of the first DragonFate novel and the first two books in the Champions of St. Euphemia series. And there were more German editions, The Rose Red Bride and the first two books in the Champions of St. Euphemia series. I’m counting 35 translations for 2021 (but I might have missed one or two.) I actually did pre-orders for translations, which was new and different.
What’s in store for 2022? Well, the pre-orders give a hint of what’s in the works. I listed A Most Inconvenient Earl at the top of the page, but here are the other releases already scheduled for 2022:
I hope you’re as pleased with your accomplishments in 2021 – and looking forward to 2022 as much as I am!
