The Carpe Diem Café series of contemporary romances and romantic comedies by Deborah Cooke continues with Just Like Starting Over

Store

I have an online store again. YAY!

Hazel & Honeysuckle Press

I took the opportunity to create a business name and commission a logo for my publishing company, a job that was long overdue. Hazel & Honeysuckle Press publishes my books, no matter what name I’ve written them under. The store is open to readers in Canada, the US, the UK and Australia at this point.

All digital content from the store will be delivered automatically via BookFunnel – they provide great technical support if you need it to get your new ebooks onto your device of choice.

There’s a discount code in the header for new customers.

If you live in the US, you can also order my books through my affiliate shop at Bookshop.org. This has the advantage of lower shipping costs and since my books are print-on-demand, Ingrams will be making them just to fill your order. I also earn a little bit of affiiliate income by sending you there. The books are organized in collections by series.

When are you going to release 4 book set of True Love Brides series beginning with Renegade’Heart, I believe? How can I purchase kindle edition of Renegade’s Heart for $ .99 in the meantime. I had a problem that I reported to Kindle Customer Care halfway through the 3rd book in Jewels of Kinfairlie set. It started skipping pages so I could only read 1 of every 4 pages. They said they would contact you to fix this. I hope they did. I love your books…can’t even count how many I have read! Thank you and keep writing! Elizabeth

    1. Hi Elizabeth – Lots of questions so I’ll take them one at a time. 🙂

      1. There are no plans right now for a boxed set of the True Love Brides series. The boxed sets were designed for readers to discover my older books at a better price. New titles will be sold individually. Right now, The Renegade’s Heart is discounted just because it’s first in that series and the series is complete. That’s the pattern you can expect in future – the first title on sale when the series is all available, and no new boxed sets.

      2. You can buy the Kindle edition of The Renegade’s Heart for 99 cents this week directly from Amazon, right here.

      3. I’m sorry to hear that you had a problem with the Jewels of Kinfairlie boxed set. From what I understand, this happens sometimes with boxed sets because the files are so big. Sometimes a reader gets a hiccup in the download. You might want to try downloading it again. I think it also happens more with older readers, which have less memory. The file is fine and there’s nothing more I can do. If you download it again and have the same issue, you should contact Amazon Customer Care again. This is another reason to not create new boxed sets in future.

Were you able to finish reading The Snow White Bride?

      Thanks for reading my books!

    Hello Claire,
I love your historicals and still have copies of ‘My Lady’s Champion’ and ‘My Lady’s Desire’ on my bookshelf. You make the past come alive with your rich descriptions and passionate characters. But I also love the Regency period for its subtle nuances and sweet romances achieved despite all the social obstacles of the period.

Hi Claire. When will Ross’s book, I assume the first of Brides of Inverfyre, be available?

    1. Hi Kathy –

Ross’s book will be one of the Brides of Inverfyre series, but I’m not sure yet whether his will be the first story. When I finish the Champions series, the planning for the Brides will get serious. I expect to launch the Brides series next fall. 🙂

I absolutely love your books! They have so much detail that I feel I am there! I can’t wait for Ross’ book.
I also love that I can afford them. When you are on a fixed income, it is sometimes hard to do.

  5. My question is why is Ember’s Kiss so hard to find? If you do find it it’s crazy expensive. It’s not available on e-reader. I’m reading the series and that one is next. I’ve been trying to find it for over a month when I first started the series. It’s the only one like that. I have all the others in either paperback or nook form including the 3 stories of the Pyr’s children. Just wondered.

    1. Melissa – the rights to the Dragonfire novels are in the process of reverting to me. When they do revert, the original publisher removes their digital editions from sale, and has the right to sell the rest of their print inventory but not print more. Right now, five of the Dragonfire books have reverted, including Ember’s Kiss. (Kiss of Fire, Kiss of Fate and Kiss of Fury are still held by NAL.) Once those last three books revert to me, I’ll make the series available in new editions, in both print and digital formats.

The only legitimate copies of EK right now are mass market paperbacks – if you find a digital edition of it, Flashfire, Winter Kiss, Whisper Kiss or Darkfire Kiss, you’re looking at a pirate site.

    2. Melissa – You might have seen these, but I do have some new mass market copies of Ember’s Kiss in my online store.

Hi Deborah thank you so much for the reply. I didn’t realize it until just now that it was here. Please disregard the other question from me. Totally my fault for not paying attention 🙂 Thank you for letting me know. I’ll wait for it to be released! The digital ones I have are Harmonia’s Kiss, the Dragon Legion novellas, Firestorm Forever and Serpents Kiss. The others were paperbacks that I tracked down. Again thank you so much for taking the time to answer mine and everyone else’s questions.

    1. I’m glad you’re enjoying the series so much, Melissa! The rights to two more Dragonfire novels have reverted to me, so we’re getting closer to republication. There’s a blog post about it, right here.
