Progress on the Site Update

You may have noticed more changes around the site as I work on the update to the new theme. It’s a good time to update a lot of other details, too. I’ve been removing links to sites that are gone, for example (like The Book Depository and Indiebound) and adding some new ones. I’ve also been making the pages consistent with each other, and adding some new navigational features. I finally got the banners to a size I like, though they may still change more. I’ve been working through the site by series and these are the series that I think are done:

The Carpe Diem Café

The Coxwells

Flatiron Five Fitness

Flatiron Five Tattoo

The Dragonfire Novels

I’ve also been updating my online store at the same time, and adding books there. (There are so many rabbit holes in this job!) I have a stash of older editions, the original ones from my New York publishers, and I’ve been listing them for sale in the store. There are, for example, a bunch of Dragonfire mass market paperbacks now available signed from the store. If you’re missing a title or two, it’s a good chance to add them to your collection. There are also a few copies of the original Flatiron Five trade paperback editions, the ones with the guys on the covers, and I found some Berkley anthologies, too.

The anthologies are here.

The Flatiron Five original editions are on the Clearance table.

The Dragonfire mass market editions are mixed into the Dragonfire listings, but they display first for me because they’re the newest editions.

And yes, I have been amusing myself by searching on a Dragonfire title in the store to display all the versions alongside each other. Even though I licensed the artwork from Tony Mauro for my editions, there are differences. There must have been some changes made at NAL on their editions. (?) Look at the four versions of Kiss of Fate, for example. Erik’s chin is different between the old and new books.

Onward! I’m working on the DragonFate Novels now…
