● About Me

I’m Deborah and I love writing romance novels that blend emotion, humor, and happily-every-after. I’ve been publishing my stories since 1992 and have written as Claire Delacroix (historical and fantasy romance), Claire Cross (time travel romance and romantic comedy) and myself (paranormal romance and contemporary romance). My goal is to keep you turning the pages, no matter which sub-genre you prefer.

I am with you about the colours. While it is fantastic as it is, if I were to make it again, I would probably aim for vibrant colours but not such busy patterns.

I LOVE the vibrancy of this quilt! It is exactly something I would like to work on if I had the time. The intricate nature of the fabric is something I could get lost in by looking at it. It would be interesting to see this completed the second way you mentioned. I think it would be intersting to see the differences.

That is so cool! It’s mind-blowing to look at it for very long, but I do like the bright colors.

Is there a way to make it bigger? Thoughts on this?

Oh, I think it could easily be made bigger. I followed the pattern this time, but it’s easy to see how the piecing works. It would just require more blocks. 🙂

You know, Anita, there was extra fabric from the kit, because the cuts were generous. If I hadn’t sliced it all up to try to make a border, I could have made more blocks to make the quilt bigger. Too bad I didn’t think of that in time!
