April Signed Book Giveaway

The Beauty, book #2 of the Bride Quest II trilogy of Scottish medieval romances and a NYT bestselling title, by Claire DelacroixLast month’s prize book was The Beauty and Lisa M won the signed trade paperback copy. Congrats to Lisa!

This month’s prize book is The Warrior, book #3 in my Rogues of Ravensmuir series of medieval Scottish romances. This one is a reincarnation story – the Hawk steals a bride, who brings him a great deal more than he expects. Aileen unravels the mysteries of the past at Inverfyre, and also helps the Hawk to secure his legacy. It’s an enemies-to-lovers, stolen-bride kind of story and one that proves to me that love conquers all. 🙂

The Warrior is also good book to read to get ready for The Brides of Inverfyre series, which features the children of Aileen and the Hawk.

“Delacroix’s satisfying tale leaves the reader hungry for the next offering!”—Booklist

I believe in reincarnation. Don’t have a specific reason why, but I also believe in God, heaven and angels I have seen too many unexplained things to not believe.

No, I don’t believe in reincarnation. I think that we get one chance at an earthly life and an eternal on at death.

I believe the soul is an old one that comes back many times to “live, learn and grow”, thereby creating a future for the next step in the process… Gosh! Both of your book covers are handsome hunks – love them… You are one of my first authors in-so-far as Medieval Romance is concerned. I love when an author examines and explores the historical facts an circumstances of a time period and vividly incorporates them into the story… thank you!

  7. Great Post Deb and great question. I do believe in reincarnation. I believe the soul/spirit whatever has more than one earthly life. You know the saying he/she has an old soul I believe that. The why is a harder question to answer because I’m not sure where my belief comes from but that’s faith for you right. A person believes without physical proof.

  8. I believe in reincarnation, God, ghosts and angels. I have experienced bits of deja vu while visiting a place I’ve never been, but recognizing the layout of the building. I’ve lived in a house that people died in and many mysterious things occurred in that house. My sister still lives there and they still occurre.
I believe in God, but I feel that church is not the only place he can be worshipped. Nature brings me closest to God. My Mothers angel was with me during surgery shortly after She passed away, so I know Angels exist.

  9. I definitely believe in reincarnation! Like when you get the “feeling” that you’ve been somewhere or seen some person/place before or when some thing/action seems so familiar..think of it as ‘like riding a bicycle— you never really forget’. And then there are dreams which can manifest in the future or reveal something in the past. Our brains/consciousness can only handle so much at one time and so our subconscious (which would include our spirit/soul) is the safe-keeper guarding our past experiences/knowledge and our potential.

No I don’t believe in Reincarnation. I was raised that our souls go to heaven once we die. I also don’t believe in Ghost or souls lingering around!

  19. I sure do believe. I feel in my soul that this isn’t my first go round. There are too many places and people (not necessarily important people in time) from the medieval era that resonate deep within my soul and seem familiar for me not to believe… so deeply that it almost hurts at times, like a yearning.

  20. I believe in reincarnation because I feel that if you don’t get it right the first time then you are sent back in another form or being until you get it right. Besides if you believe in any God or Goddess then you believe in angels. Angels help us along our paths and watch out for us.

I don’t believe in reincarnation, though it’s an interesting concept. I was raised to believe the soul goes to heaven (hopefully!) when we die, and I’ve never experienced anything to make me change my mind.

  22. I have studied metaphysics for many years so it would be impossible for me not to believe. It is the only thing that makes any logical sense to me. I can’t believe that now is all there is. Reincarnation explains so many magical things in this world, such as, savants, child prodigies, the instant knowing of someone you just met or the instant dislike for some when you first lay eyes on them. I am not an organized religious person, but I firmly believe there is a higher power or universal order at work here. If I win the give away, I would like the new book with Brandon Katz on the cover. Thank you so much the many hours of pleasure I have received from reading your books. Please don’t stop.

I do not believe in reincarnation because I believe once a person has lived their life their souls are free to heaven or hell. I also like the cover on the right, it seems more medieval for some reason, maybe the hair 🙂

One has to believe in something to make our lives have meaning besides the everyday
I love the newer cover,it just fits the image invoked by the description better

  34. I believe in reincarnation among other things as a consequence of studying religions and belief systems whether they are cultural, society or a religion, one must have beliefs in order to do anything besides just survive,so reincarnation is hopefully a chance to learn and live a better life than the one before this one
Love the newer cover as it invokes more the image that the description generates

Yes I do believe in reincarnation. I have seen and heard some weird things in regards to reincarnation over the years. One example is that of a five year old girl going up to a 75 year old man and telling him they used to be married. This girl freaked the gentleman out by calling him by name and telling him what he used to call her. His wife had died almost 10 years before this girl was born.

I am on the fence about reincarnation. You read about people having experiences, etc. all the time but I am still unsure. Though I do believe in God, heaven, etc. and though our bodies die I believe our spirits live on in those we love and those whose lives we have touched in special ways..so in a way, I guess that would be one form of reincarnation.
