Incendium & Eye Candy

,

One of the fun things about building a new world is figuring out what it looks like, as well as how it works. I’ve been gathering images for Incendium on my Pinterest board for the series—you can find it right here— but there’s one particular image I’d like to share with you.

The dragon shifter Gemma, who is the heroine of Wyvern’s Prince, is a warrior princess. She trained with the warrior maidens of Cumae and is considered to be tough and inscrutable by her sisters. She has one soft spot, though—her pet pavofel, Felice.

This image is the inspiration for the domestic pavofels of Incendium. Isn’t it wonderful?
