Thinking Local

Recently, I started a blog for local (and local-ish) authors along with a local librarian. It’s called Stratford Authors and developed out of the discussions that Melanie and I had regarding the number of authors in town. We launched the blog in September 2012 and post an interview every Tuesday. It’s been really interesting to see the diversity in both authors’ experiences and their work. In December, we started to co-host a monthly event with the local library, too.

Lately, our little blog has attracted a bit of attention. Open Book Ontario features authors in one city or town in our province each month. When they chose Stratford for February’s feature, they found us. So, the upshot of all of this is that today Open Book Ontario has posted a little article by me about my desk.

I thought some of you might want to learn more about “where it all happens”. Here’s the link.

About Me
USA Today bestselling author Deborah Cooke, who also writes as Claire Delacroix

I’m Deborah and I love writing romance novels that blend emotion, humor, and happily-every-after. I’ve been publishing my stories since 1992 and have written as Claire Delacroix (historical and fantasy romance), Claire Cross (time travel romance and romantic comedy) and myself (paranormal romance and contemporary romance). My goal is to keep you turning the pages, no matter which sub-genre you prefer.
