FALLEN Contest

,

Well, I’m having one of those weeks. I have revisions to finish, a proposal to write and a book to write, more or less simultaneously. Plus there are promo items to mail. This means that I don’t have much funny or wise to say.

So, let’s have a contest! I promised that we’d draw for an advance reading copy of FALLEN.

Linnea Sinclair said this about FALLEN:

“Beautifully written, intensely passionate and gripping, FALLEN grabbed me from the first sentence and didn’t let go. Its eerie future world and frightening mores provide an unforgettable backdrop to the story of Lilia Desjardins, the shade-hunter, and fallen-angel turned cop, Adam Montgomery. It’s Matrix, Blade Runner and Terminator rolled into a riveting love story and made better. Perfect. A must-read by an author who keeps you on the edge of your seat.”

Here’s what the mass market ARC looks like:

You can find the back cover copy and an excerpt here.

Post a comment here, telling me why you should win. I’ll pick a winner on Friday.

Good luck!

I should win because I am in jepoardy of losing my own wings and becoming “Fallen” if I don’t!

  3. Doesn’t he look like some actor we know? One of those marital arts types? Vin Diesel, maybe? Can’t remember?

(And don’t enter this in the contest – I prefer my Deb Cooke books pristine and fresh off the local bookstore shelves!)

I think there is a saying that goes something like “Happiness isn’t getting what you want, it’s wanting what you’ve got.” I would like to say that “I’ve got a copy of Fallen” 🙂 Either way it is on my to buy list. Great cover. Sandy

  7. Pam – My editor thinks he looks like that actor in the Henry VIII series, whose name is (help me, people!) Rhys something-hyphenated. I’m so lousy with actor’s real names! LOL!

But maybe that’s who you mean…?

  12. hmm, I just happened to have a copy of the latest rennaisance mag on my desk–which has an article on behind the scenes at The Tudors. And yep, there is a fine resemblence. Fine.

    And it’s a brilliant cover.

Why I need to win? My TBR pile isn’t big enough? Okay, so that’s not the truth, but there’s always room for one more good book!

That excerpt was FAB….I’d love to have it even though I have no good reason other than I *love* urban fantasy and I love the tagline on the cover and my spam word is Climb LOL

I also added it to my amazon.com wishlist!

  16. I shouldn’t win this one because I just won the ARC for Kiss of Fury. I don’t want to be entered so someone else can win. BUT I just wanted to say I love your books, under any name. I can’t wait for this one. And I just LOVED Kiss of Fire and Kiss of Fury. I don’t know how I’ll get along until the next one now that I’ve read the second months early. (In 12 hours besides, while working and visiting my Dad in the hospital) Thank you for such wonderful books!!!!

I am never good in saying why I and no one else should win contest.

I would like to help you promote the books by talking about the book prior it is released etc.

  29. Pam P – FALLEN is quite different from anything I’ve done before. More edgey and dark. But the hero is still a yummy beast – that part is just the same! LOL.
