Audio Review for The Crusader’s Heart

The Crusader's Heart by Claire DelacroixThis weekend, Eileen posted a wonderful review of The Crusader’s Heart on her blog, Booktalk with Eileen. She listened to the audio edition, narrated by Tim Gerard Reynolds. The review post is titled Historical Romance to Capture Your Heart, which is a bit of foreshadowing for this lovely review. 🙂

Here’s her final comment:

“I…highly recommend this read to those who love this period in history and love a dangerous challenge to a happy ever after ending.”

The review also has a summary of the story, so you might want to hop over to her blog and read the whole thing.

New Audio Reviews

I have some new audio reviews to share with you, for my Champions of Saint Euphemia series. This medieval romance series is set during the Crusades and features a company of knights on a quest to deliver a treasure from Jerusalem to Paris. They find adventure, danger and love on their way. The audiobooks are narrated by Tim Gerard Reynolds.

The Crusader's Bride by Claire DelacroixEileen posted a wonderful 5-star review of The Crusader’s Bride earlier this week.
“I loved this listen.  Once you start the series, you’ll want to continue, because author Claire Delacroix will take you on a journey far larger than the story itself.  Her historical settings, rich characterization, and emotional moments where you identify intensely with characters will leave you changed, more tolerant and definitely thoroughly entertained!”

Eileen lived in Tripoli for many years, and her additional comments are quite interesting. Read her complete review on her blog.

The Crusader's Heart by Claire Delacroix Today, Debbie posted a review of The Crusader’s Heart.

“Claire Delacroix’s second in her Champions of St. Euphemia series is a fantastic mix of historical romance, mystery and suspense, and shares a compelling intertwining storyline with book one. Her era-accurate narrative, fabulous visual vistas and historical facts fused with her fiction make for a spine-tingling page-turner.

The audible version narrated by Tim Gerard Reynolds definitely added to the overall experience of the read. His switching characters, genders and accents were flawless, hearing the correct pronunciations of words was a tremendous plus and the way his lyric voice added something to the many tales that the characters spun during the novel was mesmerizing.”

You can read the rest of Deb’s review on her blog.

Listen to samples of either book on my Audiobook page for the series.

Thanks Eileen and Deb!

The Crusader’s Bride in Audio

The Crusader's Bride by Claire DelacroixI mentioned to you a while ago that I intended to put new titles into audio on a more immediate basis, even as we catch up with the backlist, and that plan has been put into action. The Champions of Saint Euphemia are already in audio production, each book going to audio as soon as it’s completed. I wanted to use a male narrator for this series, and after listening to auditions, chose Tim Gerard Reynolds to narrate this series.

I have permission from the producer to share Tim’s audition, and you can listen to it on my new Soundcloud page, right here. I can’t wait to hear the whole book.

I’ve also divided up my Audio page on the site to make it easier to find what you’re looking for – The Champions of Saint Euphemia Audio page is right here.

The Renegade's Heart audiobookAlso this fall The True Love Brides medieval romances are in audio production. Saskia Maarleveld is narrating them, since she does such a wonderful job with the family from Kinfairlie. The True Love Brides Audio page is right here.
