Inspired by an article I saw online, I’ve been creating some booklists for you. These are PDF files that you can download and print out to keep track of which books you’ve read and which ones you want to read. They also list each of my series in reading order.
Here’s a screenshot of the top of the Delacroix list, so you can see what they’re like:
Editions with a red dot are no longer available. Editions with a green dot are available. There’s a list at the end of the abbreviations used for print editions.
Each list “lives” on my appropriate sub-genre website, so the second link will take you to Delacroix.net.
I’ve updated the free downloadable sample from In the Midnight Hour in my online store. It’s now two complete chapters, which gives you a much better introduction to Haley and Damon. It’s also available in the iBookstore.
Remember also that the Flatiron Five series has a dedicated newsletter. When you subscribe, you’ll receive a sequence of emails bringing you up to date on the series so far. This newsletter is separate from my monthly newsletter, Knights Dragons and Heroes. You can belong to either or both.
There’s a free downloadable excerpt from The Crusader’s Vow in my online store. It’s longer than the one posted here on the site.
Returning home to Scotland triumphant after his military service, and entrusted with the precious relic of the Templars, Fergus is more than ready to wed his beloved Isobel and begin their life together. To his dismay, Isobel has wed another in his absence, and he believes all of merit is stolen from his life—until Leila resolves to win the valiant highlander’s heart for her own. She is convinced of her own success, until Isobel tempts Fergus anew.
Download a free sample of The Crusader’s Vow from my online store. (It’s longer than the one below.)
You can pre-order The Crusader’s Vow for March 23 delivery at these portals:
There’s a new trend for Reader Guides, or Reading Order Guides, particularly at Amazon. These little downloads provide a list of an author’s books, with the reading order of series included, as well as suggestions of where to start reading. Since the most common query that brings people to my website is “Dragonfire reading order” or “Claire Delacroix reading order”, I decided it would be a good idea to create one of these little guides.
The result is ready for you today. It’s a free download at my store as well as at major portals, and it’s thick with links. There are links to product pages (there’s an Amazon and an iBooks version with links to their portals specifically) as well as links to other content on my site that you might have missed—an out-take scene, family trees to download, audio samples, swag, upcoming booksignings. It’s a jam-packed little volume.
My plan is to update it annually, so this is the 2016 edition.
This is something I always intend to do and never manage to finish – a sampler of upcoming titles. In the past, I’ve thought about printing these up, but this year, had the (brilliant!) idea of making the sampler a downloadable book file. No postage. No delay in delivery. No production time. And another cool product for the online store. Woo HOO!
This sampler gives a taste of my upcoming releases for 2016. It’s only available at my online store, and it’s free.
Last week, I told you about my new medieval romance sampler, and said it would probably get a new cover. Well, it has a new title – Knights & Rogues of Medieval Romance – and a new cover – look left! The interior is the same as discussed last week (the first three chapters from each of five medieval romances, all first in a series) and the sampler is free in my store, as discussed last week.
It’s also available for free download from major online portals. So, you can download Knights & Rogues of Medieval Romance at my store in EPUB or MOBI, at Amazon, iBooks, GooglePlay, Kobo or B&N.
There’s also a new page here on the site for Samplers – because, yes, there will be more of them coming soon and they need a home on the site. Since most of the current samplers are for Delacroix books, the Sampler page is the last item on the Claire Delacroixtab.
Next up – another sampler for my own books, plus one with other authors. Stay tuned!
Here’s the first of a number of fun things I have planned for the online store. This free download includes long samples of five different medieval romances of mine, each the first book in a series. Read the first three chapters for free, and decide which series you want to read first.
It will get a new cover in the next few days but the content will stay the same.
You can download Knights & Rogues free from my online store, in EPUB or in MOBI.
Psssst – there’s a new page here on the site, under the About Deborah tab, called Samplers.
Now that the Amazon links are live, you can download a free MOBI sample of The Crusader’s Bridefrom my store. This is longer than the one on my website and includes the prologue and all of the first chapter.
Now that Firestorm Forever is available for pre-order at Amazon again, the free excerpt on my store is also available in MOBI again. The downloadable excerpt is longer than the one here on the site – it’s the entire first chapter – and it has buy links in the end matter.
There’s a new LONGER excerpt from Firestorm Forever available as a free download in my store. If you downloaded it before Tuesday, you’ll want to hop back and get the updated version. This excerpt is longer than the one on the website here – it includes three additional scenes. (Really, it’s the first chapter of the book.)
Here’s the link for the EPUB and here’s the link for the MOBI.
