The Carpe Diem Café is a series of heartwarming small town contemporary romances with spice. When Merry opens her own bistro in the sleepy small town of Empire, there’s more cooking than her daily farm-to-table specials. Merry’s bistro is named for her philosophy (‘Carpe Diem‘ or ‘Seize the Day‘) and once her doors are open, this little Canadian town will never be the same.
Since this series is set in Canada, Canadian spelling is used in the books. Skies might be gray instead of grey, and words like colour and flavour will have an extra u. (We like to sprinkle extra u’s around.) Distances might be in klicks (kilometers) instead of miles. I don’t think you’ll find it too distracting.
Here’s a blog post about what else you can expect in this series.
I’ve started a Pinterest board for the series, which you can find right here.
