The Rogues of Ravensmuir

This trilogy of medieval Scottish romances are a little darker in tone than the Bride Quest trilogies. To me, they’re evocative of those old Gothic romances which featured mysterious heroes and intrepid heroines, often solving a mystery while uncertain of each other’s motives. Setting is also a character in Gothic romances, and the remote keeps in these books certainly have their own atmosphere. Naturally, there’s a whiff of the paranormal, too, or at least people pretending that otherworldly influences are at work. I had a wonderful time writing these books. Although there are connections between the books, they are more loosely linked than some of my other series. It’s less important that they be read in order.

  1. My daughter came across “The Rose Red Bride” at the antique store. We would be interested in purchasing a “boxed set” as you have mentioned on your website. We’re looking for the “Beauty Bride” and “The Snow White Bride” and any others in the series pertaining to the Jewels of Kinfairlie. We read a variety of genres and are most happy to find your books. Your stories are intriguing with its twists and turns. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Terri.
