Bye Bye Alive & Knitting

In my ongoing quest to simplify – and spend less time online – I decided to close down my crafty blog, Alive & Knitting. Everything was coming due for renewal, so the moment was right.

I will miss talking about my makes and chatting with other makers. I’ll miss the work of composing blog posts and taking pictures etc. a little less! And I definitely won’t miss having my content stolen and used by others.

I felt also that the blog had lost its focus in recent years, as my attention wandered from knitting to sewing to making for dolls and quilting, too. It’s possible that I’ll set up something else at some future point, with the aim of keeping it focussed on one area of interest. We’ll see.

I had that blog for over twenty years, hosted on various sites, and in a way, it’s sad to see it go. OTOH, I’ll have more time to get my projects finished. 🙂

A&K is still on IG, right here. Mostly, I just follow and like things there, but if there are changes in future, I’ll tell you about them over there.

Happy making!
