Character Couch & Contest

Today, we’re having a contest. I’ve been invited to have one of my Dragonfire couples visit Tracy Tappan’s Character Couch. Tracy is a trained therapist and a romance author – for this blog, she writes a scene in which her character, Regan, does a therapy session with a different fictional couple each month. It’s a chance to learn more about the characters, and maybe see some new sides of the hero and heroine. Tracy’s blog post will run in July, but we need your help to choose which Dragonfire book’s characters are featured.

Who do you want to learn more about? Any one of the Dragonfire books are eligible.

To help in the decision and enter the contest, you just need to vote for your choice of lucky couple, and when you do, you’ll be eligible to win a Serpent’s Kiss prize package – that’s a Serpent’s Kiss tote bag, a signed trade paperback copy of Serpent’s Kiss, Dragonfire temporary tattoos and a pair of Dragonfire earrings in Thorolf’s colors.

All you have to do is visit Tracy’s website, The Character Couch, choose the Suggest a Book button – or go directly to Suggest a Book here – and nominate your Dragonfire book of choice. It would be great for you to include what you think they need to talk about. The choices are:

Kiss of Fire, first of the Dragonfire series of paranormal romances by Deborah CookeSome suggestions for this book might be: Does Quinn need to talk about the loss of his parents? His brothers? Elizabeth? His feelings about the Pyr? What about Sara? Has she dealt with the loss of her parents? Her change of job? The legacy of her Aunt Magda? You get the idea. 🙂

Once your choices are tallied, Tracy will get to work and we’ll read more in July. Tomorrow night, we’ll choose two winners. Good luck! I’m curious to see who you pick!

  1. i chose Thorolf because hes by far my faveorite. from the time he was first introduced in the bar, to his crash landings in roofs, and right up to his book. A close second would have been Delaney for overcoming everything hes gone through.

  3. Hey Deb great idea. I chose Erik and Ellen Kiss of Fate, because Erik was from the beginning the most mysterious and then when I found out he was Sigmund’s Dad wow. And because he was Zoe’s dad for the spin off YA series you had.
I would love have them interviewed to see what Mr. Strong Silent Type would say in an iterview.

  5. All of the dragonfire books are terrific, it is hard to pick one. since I finished Serpents Kiss more recently I guess it is the current favorite as it is still fresh on my mind.

  6. I choose Alex and Donovan from Kiss of Fury because Alex may experience fear but she doesn’t let that stop her when the chips are down Alex will do whatever she needs to defend. Donovan would give up everything for all he loves!!
