That Word “Curse”

I’ve decided that putting the word “curse” in the title of a book is a bad plan.

This week has been incredible. I finished the edits on the book and my editor very kindly offered to do another proofread. More eyes are better and she was going to do it in 24 hours, so all was well. It had been a bumpy ride to this point, but I thought we were in the clear.

Then Toronto got a huge storm – guess where my editor lives – and had power outages. So, I’m still waiting on the final proofed version, checking my email compulsively and wondering if she has power and internet.

ETA – the book is at the formatter, who is working on the weekend to get it done asap.
