Ta DAAAAAAA!

And here it is, the award that I received from RWA this year, for being chosen Mentor of the Year.

Of course, I tried to take the picture obliquely, so the flash didn’t make a reflection. Because I’m such an awesome photography, the result is a crooked shot.

Isn’t it pretty, though? It came a while ago, but everything was so busy that I forgot to show you. I just need to find a nice place to display it in my office.

  2. Awesome Deb!! Just as a hint the next time you try taking photos of something like this try turning the flash off and using overhead lighting. Works better that way.

      I tried that first, DJ, but it was a dingy day. I got a dark block.

      What I really should do is let Mr. Math take the pictures for me. He’s awesome at photography. People always think his travel pix are postcards or cut out from National Geographic magazine.
