I was going to talk about this on November 1, and in fact, that post is still queued up. But since I showed you these covers on my Facebook page, I might as well share them here as well. You can still read more detail about the future of Dragonfire on November 1 – and hey, you can look at the covers again. By then, I should have the detail page up on my website, too.
Next up in the Dragonfire series are the Dragon Legion Novellas. These three novellas follow the adventures of Drake and the Dragon’s Teeth Warriors. Remember that they collected the third darkfire crystal in FLASHFIRE and haven’t been seen by the Pyr since. We’re going to catch up with them in this series – you can guess that the crystal has been making trouble for them all. It also is causing some unexpected results.
There will be three Dragon Legion Novellas. They will be released in digital editions first, at monthly intervals, then all three will be gathered into an anthology that will be published in print and digital. You don’t need to read my digital short story, Harmonia’s Kiss, to read these novellas, but you’ll meet Alexander there.
Here are the covers, nice and big:
KISS OF DANGER is Alexander’s story. It’ll be available in February 2013.
KISS OF DARKNESS is Damien’s story. It’ll be out in March 2013.
KISS OF DESTINY is Thad’s story. It’ll be available in April 2013. The anthology will follow, in print and digital, after that.

Love the covers but too much hair on Damien’s chest!! Just me but I don’t care for hairy men. Other than that little nitpicky thing they are truly wonderful covers and I can’t wait for February now.

LOL DJ – I love the sword too! Now I need to work it into the story! It’s not much of a stretch, fortunately.
And you two have disagreed before, Deb and DJ. As DJ says, difference makes the world go ’round! I never noticed the hair in that shot but it might have been why I liked it so well – I do notice that most of the models wax their chests these days and I’m less of a fan of that. Once in a while, it’s fine, but not ALL of them!

Deb, so cool, yay the guys have their stories told too. I knew they didn’t have enough umph to warrant their own novels and I thought you might somehow combine them into one of the Pyr’s novels but this is just perfect. I can’t wait. and I’m waiting for the anthology cause I want it all in one fell swoop.
Oh and the covers, yummy and I for one hate the manscaped hairless guys on most covers I love a guy with hair on his chest, it’s more real, more male and just what I’d expect from a guy who turns into a dragon. Sorry DJH to disagree but a bit o hair is just my cup of tea. 🙂

Oh these covers are awesome! If I didn’t know you as an author, I would check these out to find out more about the stories and heroes! (I always thought that the whole package of the book is important) plus these heroes are yummy! 😀 Can’t wait! ( like too the different color of each book to know each are different. I’ve seen some where they just do a different pose for each of the books and everything else the same so this stands out more! I tend to read in ebook more now, instant gratification, LOL.

Thanks Cathie. I’m really happy with the covers, too. A bit stuck on what we should do for the anthology, but that idea will come when it’s ready – and I have some time to think about it yet.

Be fair – some of them might naturally be that way!! My husband has no chest hair and he certainly doesn’t wax his chest.. I’m just not a fan of chest hair as it tends to make me itch.
