I had some exciting news last night – my editor has approved the manuscript for BLAZING THE TRAIL, book #3 in my paranormal YA trilogy. I’m happy that Zoë’s story is told, and I’m happy with the books. On the other hand, writing the Dragon Diaries has been quite the adventure and I’m a bit sad that it’s over.
On the third hand (there are always three hands in this discussion) now I can work on another new idea. That’s exciting.
Do you prefer to finish projects or to start new ones? I like both, for different reasons. Tell me yours.

I get a lot of satisfaction from finishing, and I hate the feeling of thousands of loose ends, which finishing heals a bit.
That being said, there is nothing like the excitement of creating something new, and going along for the adventure as you discover what it will finally be.

Congrats! 🙂
I like both, too. There is so much satisfaction with finishing a project, but excitement with a new project. I love the brainstorming in the beginning. It’s the middles I don’t enjoy.

I love all your books regardless of genre, but I hope you revisit YA again :-}

Oh, Diana, I think I will. The YA books have been a lot of fun to write.
Thanks so much for your kind words!
