Swapping with Terry Spear

My guest today is Terry Spear, a writer I’ve only met virtually. We were both members of a joint blog a few years ago, called Shapeshifter Romance, which was where we first “met”. Since then, we’ve crossed paths a number of times out there in cyberspace, so it’s probably only a matter of time until we meet in real life. Terry is a wonderful, smart, prolific author, and I’m looking forward to learning more about her today. Here’s Terry’s website.

Meanwhile, I’ll be over at Terry’s blog today, talking about my YA dragons. Here’s the permalink.

And now, please welcome Terry!

The World of Fae
by Terry Spear

You might believe that everything that could go wrong and does go wrong is just fate. But what if it’s more than that? What if the myths and legends about the fae are true? What if you can see them, too?

That’s what Alicia believes when her father leaves her with a journal and clues about the fae. She is a fae seer. Which means if any of the fae know the truth, she’s toast.

So when one of THE DARK FAE hits on her girlfriend at South Padre Island, she has a choice—stop and save her friend from heartbreak, or save her own skin and let the fae have his wicked way.

Only she can’t. Honor bound, she’s got to save her friend.

All those times that you stumbled and fell, or felt parts of your body falling asleep, or found your dinner at a restaurant was sent to another table—maybe it had nothing to do with you at all—but all to do with the fae.

The fae are mischievous, pranksters, wicked and loving, too. And they live among us, when they feel the need to play a trick or two.

In THE DEADLY FAE, Lady Sessily, one of the dark fae, doesn’t care to mix it up with humans much, as she is an assassin, attempting to retire, and is too busy for fun and games. But when a cobra fae tries to hire her for a job and won’t take no for an answer, she hasn’t much choice. Or at least that’s what he thinks and the games begin.

And then THE WINGED FAE causes mischief in South Padre Island in the dark fae-owned territory. One dark fae takes it upon himself to stop the intriguing winged fae, and she turns his world upside down. Not that the dark fae don’t cause troubles for the humans when they try to paint over the graffiti she has drawn on one of the walls, but when the fae target each other…well, the humans get a break for a while, until the fae return to have more fun at their expense.

So the next time your foot falls asleep, or you stumble over a crack, or a book slips out of your hand, just remember, it might have nothing to do with you, but all to do with the fae.

  5. Thanks so much, Tamara!!! I’m so thrilled you’re loving the series!!! I’m definitely having a lot of fun writing them! I’m already thinking about the one after that. I think it might be The Dragon Fae, although I hope it doesn’t confuse readers with three titles that begin with a D. 🙂 But I do have a picture for a cover that would perfectly suit a dragon fae. 🙂 Thanks again!!
