I just got home from a busy trip to NYC and BookExpo. Here’s my top ten list for this trip:
1. I signed copies of DARKFIRE KISS in the RWA booth on Tuesday and had a wonderful time doing it. I saw so many friends and acquaintances – it was like old home week. I met readers of the Dragonfire series, and lots of librarians, and people new to the series. So much fun. It was the fastest half hour of my life!
2. I caught up on all the news from my friend Terri Brisbin.
3. I saw my friend Lisa Stone Hardt, caught up on her news and just about made her miss her train because we were talking too much. (This is a recurring trend.)
4. I had a great meeting with my editor.
5. I found the elusive ball of Kidsilk Haze to finish my VLT project. It’s not the same dye lot as I was using, but it’s a close match.
6. I ate too much wonderful food. Yum.
7. I had a terrific meeting with my agent.
8. I saw the musical BORN YESTERDAY and it was fabulous.
9. I scored free books! Plus I made it to the bookstore at the Metropolitan Museum. Those books weren’t free, but that’s okay.
10. Our hotel room did NOT have bedbugs. YAY!
I’m home and exhausted but happy. (I’ve also used up all my superlatives. I love NYC. I also love coming home.)
How was your week?

When I go to New York I plan to do a food tour of all the places I’ve seen on the Food Network/Travel Channel. There will be no dieting on that trip!
It sounds like you had a great time 🙂

I’ve been busy destashing yarn. I’m getting rid of 50% of it! (major ebay this week.

Wow, kudos to you, Diana! Every time I think I’ll destash, I fall in love with every skein all over again – and none of it gets out the door. Oh well!
Happy ebaying!
