Fatin Soufan runs a blog called Romance Reader at Heart. (RR@H Novelthoughts blog is right here.) She’s a real sweetie, one of those fixtures of the writing community and just such a nice lady that it breaks my heart to share this news with you. Fatin’s husband was shot and killed earlier this month. This is absolutely horrible.
A number of people are organizing a fundraiser for Fatin, who has four children to raise herself now. It’s called Operation Auction and it will be conducted on eBay later this month.
