Here’s the first review for Dragonfire #5, WHISPER KISS, and we’re certainly starting off on the right foot. It’s from Tanzey Cutter, and will be posted at Fresh Fiction.
Here it is:
“Another fabulous addition to the always dynamic Dragonfire chronicles.
Niall Talbot has vowed to hunt down the rest of the shadow dragons that were left after the Dragon’s Blood Elixir was destroyed. Even though his twin brother is one of them, Niall has no choice but to make sure all of the shadow dragons cease to exist. His mission is a lonely, all-consuming one until he meets tattoo artist Rox – and his firestorm manifests itself.
Rox is a lively, free-spirited beauty who takes each day as it comes and embraces life fully. She isn’t even rattled when a virile man shape-shifts into a dragon right before her eyes in order to protect her from evil forces. But what are these sparks that keep jumping between them whenever they get close? And does she want to consummate this firestorm he keeps telling her about if it means she has to bear a child? As things go from bad to worse in this world of the Pyr, Slayers and shadow dragons, Rox finds she must follow her heart and be with the man she loves – no matter what may come in their future.
Deborah Cooke has again given readers a truly dynamic story in her Dragonfire chronicles. With WHISPER KISS, she moves the Pyr into some new territory, which she says has opened up lots more possibilities for future books. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for these fascinating shape-shifting heroes and their mates.”

Can’t wait to read this one. Still think the cover would look better cut off at the eyes like the other ones, though.

Glad to hear it, DJ.
I think it might have the same trim on the actual books. We’ll have to wait and see!
