It’s amazing how quickly time has flown this spring. There are only six weeks left until the week of the RWA National convention, now to be held in Orlando, Florida. Hard to believe how quickly that event has snuck up on me.
Before I head south to DisneyWorld, my plan is to finish Zoë’s book – that’s book #1 of the YA Dragonfire series. Of course, there are bunches of other things to get done as well – knitting to finish, sewing to finish, gardening to do and real-life-summertime things to enjoy. Phew! Attending National isn’t exactly a vacation, but it can be a lot of fun. I’m not teaching this year, so am hoping to attend a lot of interesting workshops. I’ll be signing books, of course, meeting readers and other writers (and editors!), but plan to learn a bit too.
I hope to get to DisneyWorld, as well, of course!
