Very Sad News

Yesterday, I heard that author Kathleen Givens had suddenly passed away.

Kath and I met some ten years ago, when her Kilgannon series was being published by Dell. She was a lovely person, charming and funny and genuine, and a talented writer, as well. She was also one of those special people with whom you could pick up exactly where you had left off, no matter how long it had been since you’d talked. I know I’ll still be looking for her at National next year, hoping to catch a glimpse so we can sit and have a chat to catch up.

My best wishes go out to her family, who will surely miss her most of all.

Blessed be, Kath. Blessed be.
