Another Review of WINTER KISS

,

Here’s a wonderful review from Lynnette, who also posted her review on the Chapters Indigo website.

“What do you get when you pit a self-sacrificing dragon with tunnel vision and a death wish up against a woman who will challenge everything that he believes in…a wonderfully written novel, Winter Kiss by Deborah Cooke.

Winter Kiss, takes us back to the world of the Pyr in this next instalment in Ms. Cooke’s Dragonfire series.

Delaney Shea, meets his match in the fiery dynamic Ginger Sinclair, but the journey to a shared future is rife with evil possibilities controlled by the Slayers.

I enjoyed this novel, the give and take between the main characters added depth to the knowledge that the reader has gained from reading the Dragonfire series . Ms. Cooke continues to uncover more information about the Pyr and the Slayer dragons.

The battle between good and evil is never just the flip side of a coin, there are variations to it that rise up to surprise even the most blasé of readers. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to more in this series.”

  1. Oh see now this is harsh. Another review to tease us. You know me and drake could proof read it for you and as well as give you a review and post it online if you want, just sayin. And this review is totally harsh. It makes waiting all the more difficult.

No kidding Lendell that last paragraph of this review really leaves me wondering though there really isn’t a good or bad when you think about it. Sure we call the slayers evil but in the end they are in a sense just trying to save the planet from the humans that are killing it but on the flip side the elixer is killing the planet also so I suppose its just based on opion.

  3. So many complaints! If I didn’t share the reviews, you wouldn’t be happy either!

I have some out-take scenes from Niall’s book – behave yourselves and I’ll post one early.

  4. Sorry,lol

Thats probably true. We only jest out of anticipation.

As far as the good versus bad on slayers issue i due suppose its a matter of opion. After all since mankind has slaughtered so many of the pyr one can only assume that hostility would arise between slayers and humnaity. Like how Sigmunds grandfather captured the faters of Boris and Erik so its only natural to question ones opion of the rights of humanity to retain the status of one of the earths treasures.
