Those Spanish publishers have got it going on.
At least, my Spanish publisher (Punto) does. That’s all that counts, right?
There were foreign edition prezzies in the mail this week for me – check out this edition of THE WARRIOR from Spain.

Wow. I can’t even read Spanish, but I would buy this book in a heartbeat. I was so excited that I couldn’t even photograph it straight!
Now, go get some paper towels to clean up your keyboard.

Wow, Claire!!! It is an awesome cover. A treat for my sore eyes. These Spanish people have great taste but i am sure they must be highly inspired by your fab writing. Congrats on being published in Spanish! What’s next? Korean, may be. Wish you best of luck.

Thanks everyone. (And Mahaira, how fun to “see” you again. I hope you’re well!)
I’ve had lots of foreign editions but I’m still fascinated by them. This is the third of the Warner titles that this Spanish publisher has printed, and I’m really impressed with their packaging. They seem to be coordinating it with the book itself – WARRIOR, for example, is quite dark in tone, almost Gothic, so this cover is perfect. The two they’ve done for the Jewels of Kinfairlie are lighter in tone, but lovely.
The new Japanese editions of Harlequin titles also stand out from the back. They’re small books, each just a little bit bigger than a deck of cards – the line is called Boku – and the covers are exquisite.
