The Jewels of Kinfairlie

The Jewels of Kinfairlie trilogy continues the story of the Lammergeier family, first introduced in the Rogues of Ravensmuir trilogy.

At the very end of The Warrior, Roland and his wife arrived from Kinfairlie to celebrate the Hawk’s marriage. They brought their eight children. There’s just a single line reference to Roland and his kids, but those children are the heroes and heroines of this story. We move forward in time, and rejoin them after the tragic death of Roland and Catherine: their oldest son, Alexander, finds himself Laird of Kinfairlie and unprepared for the responsibility.

These books are a lighter in tone than the Rogues of Ravensmuir books. In addition to the initial trilogy in this series, there’s a linked short story. The stories of the other siblings continue with the True Love Brides Series.
