Next week, the tenth and final romance in the Flatiron Five Fitness series, When Annika Met Thom, will be published. I love this story, but it turned into a full book in the writing instead of just being a reunion novella to close out the series.
And that has a halo effect.
First, I’ll be moving the publication date of Dragon’s Wolf, as there’s no way I can finish it in time for publication in May. The publication date will now be June 23.
Secondly, I’ve decided to put the publication of Just A Small Town Romance on hold. The pre-order has been cancelled at the portals and you’ve probably received notification if you had pre-ordered it already. My plan is to get ahead of things a bit (always a goal, and maybe this time I’ll manage it) and have more books written further in advance of publication than is currently the case. The ideal moment to pause and reorganize is before launching a new series, so that’s what I’m doing.
The excerpt from Just a Small Town Romance is posted on the book’s landing page. Hop on over and meet Aidan and Merry, then reserve your copy today!
Aidan Hawke’s legendary good luck has bailed…
Coming home to Harte’s Harbor to start a craft brewery was the perfect solution to everything—until his landlord died and left everything to his daughter. By-the-book Merry has always been the one person immune to Aidan’s charm and she’s ready to evict his start-up, sell the building and leave town forever. Worse, now Merry’s a hotshot Boston lawyer—with legs that go on forever—and even less inclined to compromise than ever. Aidan will do anything to change her mind—even take Merry on as his partner…but when their partnership-of-opposites works like a charm, can he convince her to take a chance on him, too?
Meredith Sinclair is on the road to success…
Her hard work is paying off and she’s in the running to make partner at one of the most prestigious law firms in Boston. At the worst possible moment, she has to return to Harte’s Harbor—the backwater she couldn’t wait to leave—to settle her father’s estate. It just figures that her dad made one of his handshake deals with Aidan Hawke, her secret high school crush. That crooked smile still has a dangerous effect on her pulse, but Aidan is the last person Meredith needs complicating her life. Too bad Aidan’s suggestion of a temporary partnership makes more sense it should. It’ll just be business, for their mutual benefit, and just temporary—so long as Meredith doesn’t forget everything she’s learned about love and Aidan “Footloose” Hawke.
