Dragonfire Bookplates

,

Since so many of you have shown interest in having Dragonfire bookplates, I have ordered some to be printed. The wonderfully talented Laron at Ninth Moon has designed them for me – and the artist for the Dragonfire covers very graciously allowed me to use the dragon logo from the back cover for the bookplates – and they’re on their way to me now. They’re wonderful!

So, if you would like signed bookplates for your Dragonfire titles, please let me know. Send me an email to:

chestwick AT sympatico DOT ca

Take out the spaces and replace the caps with the proper symbol. Be sure to tell me the name of whoever I should sign the bookplates for, and include your snail mail address. If I don’t reply to you in 72 hours, confirming receipt, please try again. I have no control over my ISP’s spam filters and your message might get caught. For the moment, I’ll cover the postage – if there are too many requests, that might have to change.

I will also have these bookplates at RWA National.

    1. Haha! I wanted nice ones, if I did bookplates at all. I saw Ninth Moon products at the Emerald City conference last fall and was very impressed. I can’t wait to see them either. At this point, I’ve only seen the jpeg and am impatiently checking for deliveries…I think they’re going to be gorgeous.

  3. By the way, you wouldn’t happen to be able to suggest any other dragon related books would you. It is sooo hard trying to find something to do to pass the time in between your books so I have been looking for other dragon type novels to read as well. I found one series but unfortunatly the author died after writing the second book and so once again I am without anything to occupy my attention while I anxiously await your next novel.

    1. Actually, Donovan, I’m a bad person to ask. I haven’t read any dragon books in ages – since Tolkien, really – by deliberate choice. I don’t want to mingle other people’s story ideas with my own.

There are a lot of dragon series out there, though, both in the romance section and in the fantasy section. An author whose work I really enjoy, Ursula K. Leguin, has written a lot of dragon books – I’ve read her other work over the years, but you might want to look for the EarthSea books. I hear they’re really good. They’ll be in the fantasy section. Her website is HERE.

  7. Hi,

I have tried to Mail you several times, requesting a bookplate for “Winter Kiss” for my friend and myself but unfortunately did not get an answer. 😦
We both love Delaney (the rest of the Dragon, too, of course :-)) and would really, really like a bookplate of our Best Beloved Dragon.
