  5. Mrs. Cooke,
I have to say that your books are my all-time favorites. I have always been a fan of dragons ever since I could remember, but I couldn’t figure out why they always had to be the bad guy. I have all three Dragonfire books and can’t wait for the next one to come out. Which is good, because Delaney deserves his own firestorm and mate, right? I just hope the Rafferty can have his happiness one day…
Anyway email me back if you want a readers opinion on any ideas!!

    Love, Kat

  6. Hi Kat –

Glad to hear that you’re enjoying the Dragonfire books! After Delaney’s book this fall, Niall’s book will be released next summer. Dragonfire #6. which I hope will be published at the end of 2010 – it might be January 2011 – will be Rafferty’s book. He’s been waiting a long time, but his firestorm will be soon!

Thanks for stopping by and happy reading –
    Deborah

  12. Hi Drake –

My plan is to have 13 books in this series, but at this point, six are sold and will definitely see print. Publishers tend to contract long series in increments, especially when they’re new series, because they want to see how well the books sell. So, the key to getting the other seven contracted is selling lots and lots of copies of the six that are sold.

We need to get WINTER KISS on the New York Times’ list of bestselling books – then the series will go on and on. How’s that for a plan?
