Well, this is exciting news. I’ve been invited to be the keynote speaker for this year’s Emerald City Conference in Seattle, October 9 – 11. I’ll be teaching two workshops, as well, and signing at the booksigning.
I’m really looking forward to this as I haven’t been out to the Pacific Northwest in a while. (Changing planes at SeaTac doesn’t count.) So, here’s hoping I’ll meet up with some of you out there!

Hmmm…Seattle. Never been there. Think we could find a yarn shop?

Gina – sorry you won’t be there, but I hadn’t thought of it being close to you. Fingers still crossed for your house hunt!
Kristen – Looking forward to seeing you! Will you be hiding behind the greenery, or right out in view? LOL
And Pam, OF COURSE there are yarn shops! Stands to reason with those damp days – besides, I looked. There are about a zillion of them, so there must be one relatively close.
