Happy Thanksgiving!

A happy t-day to all of you south of the border. May you travel safely this weekend, and have a wonderful time with friends and family.

Let’s play our annual game – tell me 10 things you’re thankful for. I’ll go first:

1. my dh
2. my family
3. my friends
4. the Queen Bee
5. my health
6. the fact that I can make a living doing what I love most – writing
7. lots of books to read
8. lots of stash to knit
9. bluejays at the bird feeder
10. all of you to talk to!

  1. It’s a little early in the morning to find ten things to be thankful for before caffiene, but I’ll try.

    1. My dh, who loves me in spite of myself
    2. The WebDoggies, who keep me warm and are generous with their kisses
    3. A job in these tough economic times
    4. The current price of gasoline
    5. Good dark chocolate
    6. Good friends, near and far away
    7. The internet that allows me to connect with those friends
    8. An overflowing yarn stash that will force me in new directions, if for no other reason then to reclaim half of a bedroom
    9. Books to help me escape my boring life, where for a few minutes I can battle the forces of evil, love a shape-shifting dragon, or visit exotic locations without the hassle of airports
    10. And, as cliched as it sounds, my health.
