I received some copies of KISS OF FURY last Friday, which is a cool thing, but not the one I’m going to talk about today. The cover is gorgeous, with a silvery blue foil over it that I like a lot.
BUT what’s really striking is how FAT this book is.
Way back when I delivered KISS OF FURY, my editor and I talked about how much longer it is than KISS OF FIRE. I asked her if NAL would typeset the pages the same way because I hate books with squishy type. This would mean that it would take more paper to print the book, which would cost the house more money.
To my excitement, the publisher agreed to do this: KISS OF FURY is 405 pages (with excerpt for KISS OF FATE) while KISS OF FIRE was 362 pages (with excerpt for KISS OF FURY).
Even better, both books have the same cover price – $6.99US or $7.50Cdn.
That’s an extremely cool thing!

I cannot WAIT until Kiss of Fury comes out. I don’t think I can…I think you should do a contest for some ARC’s.:smiles:

Ah, Kelly, you missed the ARC’s!
We raffled them off MONTHS ago. I’m guessing that we’ll have a couple of ARC’s to raffle for KISS OF FATE around October or so.
