I got a surprise yesterday, when the courier brought two heavy boxes to the door. Of course, I immediately ripped them open!

There are 50 or 60 Advance Reading Copies of FALLEN in my foyer. That’s the first of my trilogy future-set romances, the one that’s coming from Tor in October. These are mass market ARC’s. Mass market ARC’s are heavier than regular paperbacks – because of the paper that is used – and they’re prettier than regular ARC’s because they have the cover art on them in full colour. Any special effects planned for the package won’t be included on mass market ARC’s but they still look pretty great.

The cover isn’t final and I’ve been asked to not post it yet, so I can’t show you this pretty pile of ARC’s. (I know, I know – it’s on the ARC’s!) But we’ll be having a reader contest for an ARC of FALLEN, maybe next week.
