A few weeks ago, I did an interview with Debbie Haupt for her blog, The Reading Frenzy. The interview is posted there today, along with Deb’s review of Simply Irresistible.
You can read the interview right here.
This month’s signed print book giveaway is for a copy of Highland Heroes. This volume includes three of my medieval Scottish romances – The Beauty, The Rose Red Bride, and The Warrior. I have just one print copy left, and it will be this month’s prize.
All you have to do for your chance to win is comment on this post. Tell me something, anything, or wish everyone a happy new year.
The giveaway is open to readers in US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia and NZ.
Edited to add – we have a winner! Josée has won the signed print copy of Highland Heroes. Thanks to everyone who entered. Please check the blog for the February book giveaway and good luck!
Don’t forget that I also have THREE Goodreads giveaways running this month.
Eniko invited Tyler from Simply Irresistible to be interviewed at her blog, seelkfireice, and the interview is posted this morning.
She also included her five-star review of the book, which starts my day off right. 🙂
You can read the interview right here.
There’s a giveaway, too, of a signed print copy. Don’t miss your chance to win!
Pssst – there’s another giveaway running for a signed print copy of Simply Irresistible on my Facebook page. It’s pinned to the top of the posts.
Today’s the day! My new contemporary romance series, Flatiron Five, launches today with Simply Irresistible.
Once upon a recession, five friends banded together to find success. Ten years later, their exclusive fitness club, Flatiron Five, is the hottest destination in Manhattan. People flock to F5 to get fit, to get lucky, and even, to fall in love. The founding partners have been immune to F5’s spell—at least, so far…
Going to his fourth sister’s wedding without a date will only encourage his female relations to “help” him find romance. Ty’s ready to wait for Ms. Right and is busy enough as the finance guy for F5. When he learns that the cute woman who works in his building is in the same predicament, he’s sure that fake dates are the perfect solution. She agrees, but Ty soon realizes that there’s far more to Amy than meets the eye. When she enrolls in a bondage class at F5, he finds himself taking a disguise as dangerous Matteo to keep her safe. How far will he go to win the heart of a woman he finds…simply irresistible?
Amy Thornton can’t get enough…
Amy can’t resist another romance about a hot hero and the woman who steals his heart away with naughty games. When she decides to write her own book, she knows she needs to do research. Her fake date, Tyler, is gorgeous but too nice to play naughty games—unlike Matteo, Amy’s mysterious personal instructor at F5, who plays them so well. When Amy has to choose, will she pick the nice guy or the promise of the forbidden pleasures she finds…simply irresistible?
Available at these portals:
Maybe you feel the need for a romantic comedy today, too. All or Nothing features a fake date for Thanksgiving dinner, a bad boy hero and a heroine who needs a little boost to start living again. I really like this book, not only because love conquers all but because Jen and Zach give each other exactly what they need. The energy between them is just fun.
My Scottish time travel romance and romantic comedy, The Last Highlander, is on sale in US, UK, CA and AU for just 99 cents, now through November 9.
I love this story, which features an American illustrator looking for inspiration on her Scottish vacation, and the highlander who tumbles through time to land at her feet. Alasdair is convinced that only Morgan can help him return home and is determined to charm her into helping him. He’s pretty persuasive. 🙂
I’m pretty excited about this news. Starting a new series is always a thrill, and I’m loving this one. Flatiron Five features five friends who have built a successful business in Manhattan together. Now, it’s time for them to meet their romantic matches….
One of my working titles for this series was Five Weddings and a Fitness Club, but I thought it was too long. The series starts with Tyler, the finance guy on the team, who likes everything organized. Amy is going to shake his tree, and he’s going to like it!
Tyler has had enough…
Going to his fourth sister’s wedding without a date will only encourage his female relations to “help” him find romance. Ty’s ready to wait for Ms. Right, and doesn’t want anyone meddling in his love life. When he learns that the quiet cute woman who works in his building has the same predicament, he’s sure they can each provide a solution for the other. But there’s far more to Amy than meets the eye, and Tyler finds himself not only intrigued by her secrets, but falling hard. How far will he go to make their temporary arrangement permanent, and win the heart of a woman he finds…simply irresistible?
Coming November 29, 2016.
Pre-order at these portals:
Here’s a fun detail about this series. In Simply Irresistible, Amy decides (with Tyler’s encouragement) to follow her dream of becoming a writer. She begins to write an erotic fairy tale called Her Dark Prince. My fellow writer, Ella Ardent, agreed to write and publish “Amy’s” books. Her Dark Prince is the first title in Ella’s Euphoria series, and it’s available now.
Yesterday, I had a BookBub ad to promote my contemporary romance All or Nothing for 99 cents. I love this book because the hero and heroine challenge each other. Zach Coxwell has always been the black sheep of his family, the guy with charm to spare who never seemed to care about much of anything. Jen is a cancer survivor who hasn’t really started living again. I like how these two spark from their first meeting and provoke each other. It’s no spoiler to tell you that Zach discovers that he cares about Jen enough to risk everything, and that Jen steps up to take a chance on life again with Zach’s encouragement. They’re wonderful together, IMO, and not just because she knits. 🙂
This was a terrific promotion, and the results this morning are so wonderful that I want to share them. Again, we’ll have a look at the differences between territories and portals, because that kind of stuff fascinates me.
First of all, there are great results at Amazon and some weirdness, too.
All or Nothing is #43 overall paid in the Kindle store, which is pretty awesome.
What’s odd is that the book is categorized as contemporary romance, but wasn’t included on the bestseller list for that category.
In the UK, it’s even more strange. Zach and Jen’s book is #308 paid overall in the Amazon.co.uk store, but it’s not categorized as fiction at all. All the sites use the same metadata, the metadata in which the book is categorized as a contemporary romance.
In Canada, All or Nothing is #18 overall paid, and it’s appearing in the Holiday romance category.
In Australia, the metadata is being interpreted the way I expected. All or Nothing is #40 paid in the Kindle store, and #8 in contemporary romance.
At Barnes and Noble, something magical has happened: All or Nothing is #1 overall in the Nook store!
It’s #5 on the contemporary romance list there, too.
At Kobo, Zach and Jen’s book is #6 in contemporary romance, #8 in romance and #2 in humorous fiction, which is pretty cool.
At Apple, Zach and Jen’s book is #8 overall in books at the iBooks store:
And it’s #3 in the Romance section there, as well.
What a wonderful suite of results! Thanks to everyone who picked up a copy of this book yesterday. It’ll remain on sale until the 12th of October. Remember that Double Trouble, #2 in the same series, is free. There’s a Coxwell Series Boxed Set, too, which is $9.99 right now. Some portals don’t list the boxed set as part of a series, but it’s there!
Edited to add – after some coffee, I went looking for All or Nothing in the Kindle store. I found it at #1 in Holiday romance, as listed on the product page.
I also found it at #5 in Romantic Comedy:
And I found it where it belongs, in Contemporary romance, at #13:
So, things aren’t quite so weird after all. 🙂
First, there are new digital editions and print interiors uploaded of all four of The Coxwell series of contemporary romances. You can tell you have the new one because:
• the booklist will include releases from the last two years, like the Dragons of Incendium and the Champions of St. Euphemia
• there will be only one excerpt from another book in the back, instead of two.
If you don’t automatically get updates from your portal of choice for your purchased e-books, there’s always a process to request them. Amazon, for example, has added some functionality for managing your content. I asked them about this recently and received this reply:
Customers can now update the content on their “Manage Your Content and Devices” page.
Customers who download eBooks through Kindle Unlimited will receive the updated content as long as they haven’t returned the Kindle Unlimited borrow before the content update is initiated.
At this time, customers who download eBooks through Kindle Owners’ Lending Library don’t receive updated content. Our technical team is working on improving this process.
A Rhapsody Book Club Selection
A Romantic Times Top Pick
A #1 Kindle Bestseller
Third, there are more signed print books discounted in my online store.
And fourth? The digital edition of All or Nothing is 99 cents from today through October 13. If you haven’t read Jen and Zach’s book yet, here’s your chance!
