Romancing the Capital 2018

Eve Langlais is hosting Romancing the Capital, her fabulous annual reader event, again in 2018, and I’ll be attending one more time. Registration is open and the list of attending authors is posted on the site. In 2018, RTC will be from August 2 – 4. It sounds as if I’ll be teaching a longer workshop on Thursday, an intro to publishing for new writers, as well as all the fun events at the conference itself. Registration for this event sells faster every year, so don’t miss out.

Romancing the Capital 2018

Look for a pre-order form for books closer to the date, and remember that the booksigning on Saturday is open to the public.

I hope to see you there!

Romancing the Capital 2017

The stars have aligned, and I will be attending Eve Langlais’ Romancing the Capital event in Ottawa in 2017 after all!

I’m very excited about this. Eve’s reader conference is a wonderful romance-positive event and a lot of fun. In 2017, the dates for RTC are August 3 – 5. There will be some publishing and writing workshops on the first day again, and I’ll be teaching, plus the reader events and the book signing on Saturday. The hotel hasn’t opened for reservations yet, but you can book your ticket to the conference now. Eve says tickets are going fast this time around, so don’t miss out. (You’ll see that she has special pricing for groups, so why don’t do a road trip with your book club?) Registration information is right here.

I hope to see you there!

Romancing the Capital & Signed Books

f3a66-rtc2015I’ll be attending the Romancing the Capital Reader Conference in May, and am really looking forward to it. It was a fun conference last year (its first) and the second year promises to be even better. This year, in addition to the games, dinners, panel discussions and spotlights on individual authors, there will be some classes for aspiring writers on the day before the other activities begin. I’ll be teaching, as well as participating in several panel discussions.

The conference is sold out, but there may be some people with changed plans. If you want to attend, visit the RTC Facebook group and/or contact Eve Langlais, who is organizing the event. Her email is on the RTC site right here. At this writing, there are still some places available without meal tickets. (You could attend my Knights vs Dragons session or our panel discussion Dragons are a Girl’s Best Friend.) If you’re interested, contact Eve and she might be able to find a solution for you.

99e8c-bannersIf you’re attending the conference, I’ll look forward to seeing you there! You’ll find me pretty easily. I have a number of events on the schedule, plus I’ll be taking the boys. These banners are six feet tall.

If you’re NOT attending the conference, you can still attend the booksigning, which is open to the public.

Last year, the booksigning was CRAZY! Most authors sold out of books very quickly. So, if there’s a specific title of mine that you’d like to get at the booksigning, I strongly recommend that you pre-order it. There’s a limit to how many books I can bring and I don’t want you to be disappointed. I have a pre-order form for books for the conference right here.

I’ve also added a new option to my online store for pick-up of signed print books, with RTC as one of the possible locations. There are more backlist print titles and editions in the store than on the Google form, but I won’t bring any of these unless they’re ordered in advance. Some quantities are limited, also, like the number of complete sets of Dragonfire in mass market available. As usual, you can choose to pre-pay for your books with Paypal, Mastercard or Visa, or you can pay cash at the event. They’ll be set aside for you, either way.

Pre-Order for Prose in the Park

I’ll also be attending a second event in Ottawa this spring – Prose in the Park is a free outdoor event, similar to Word on the Street which is held every year in Toronto. I’ll be participating in a panel discussion about the romance genre with Eve Langlais and others, plus signing books.

Prose in the Park will be held on Saturday June 4 this year from 11 to 5. As usual for booksignings, I have a pre-order form posted for your convenience. You can browse in advance, order your books and ensure that you’re not disappointed at the show. There’s an option to pay in advance by Paypal (ten days before the signing) or to pay in cash at the signing.

The form is right here.

Romancing the Falls

Romancing the Falls 2017I’ve booked to participate in the Romancing the Falls reader event in Niagara Falls. It will be held at the Marriott Gateway on the Falls, on the Canadian side, on May 27, 2017!

(I’m a bit amazed that I’ve booked something so far in advance, but there you go.)

You can check out the website for the event or join the Facebook page to find out what authors will be attending, and the schedule of events.

Bookapalooza

BookapaloozaI’ll be attending Bookapalooza this year, which is a reader event and booksigning in Whitby, Ontario. It happens on November 21, and there will be a pre-order form for books at show pricing closer to the date. Ordering in advance ensures that you get the books you want at the show.

I hope to see some of you there!

Sexy in the City – Toronto

Tomorrow, I’ll be participating in the Sexy in the City booksigning in downtown Toronto. It promises to be a fun day and I’m looking forward to it. They’ve just added a speed dating event with readers and authors in the evening, so don’t miss out.

You can find all the details on their site, right here.

See you there! You’ll find me and my super-VA Angie with the boys. 😉
