Buying Signed Copies

Addicted to Love, a contemporary romance by Deborah CookeSince closing my online store, I’ve been looking for a way to sell signed print books and ebooks directly to you. Today’s solution is for signed print books. I’m using a feature called Simple Payments, which lets me set up Paypal buttons on this site. It’s pretty easy to use, but it doesn’t include a shipping calculator. :-/ So, I’ve made a guess at postage on each item, and guessed high.

You’ll find buttons to buy signed books directly on the series pages for Flatiron Five and Secret Heart Ink, as well as for the individual F5 titles and Christmas with the Coxwells. You’ll also find one on the Dragons of Incendium page, and a few of them on Claire Delacroix’s Knights page. Of course, there are also buttons on the Dragonfire page for the whole series in paperback or hardcover.

In the Midnight Hour, book #3 of the Flatiron Five series of contemporary romances by Deborah CookeThis past weekend, I received the trade paperback print editions of In the Midnight Hour, so Damon and Haley’s book is now available for sale in my online store. You can check out the listing in my Selz store right here.

And there’s something new!

Since I have the link to BookFunnel for delivering digital content, I’ve added a feature to the online store: if you buy a print copy of a book from me, you’ll get the ebook of that same title for free. I’m pretty excited about this: I’ve wanted to offer this since I originally set up the store, but there was no easy mechanism to make it happen. Now there is! I’m still setting up the files for this, but right now, the Flatiron Five books are done.

Finally, I’m adding more hard cover Collectors’ Editions. There’s a hard cover edition of Kiss of Fire available for pre-order in the store right now. This option includes the hard cover signed edition of the book, the postage (to US or Canada) and a copy of the ebook, delivered by BookFunnel. Please comment here if you’re outside the US and Canada and interested in this book – I’ll need to figure out some postage costs. Also, I may put together a second version – it would be $10 more and include dragon swag. What would the swag be? Beaded bookmarks, maybe book charms, maybe temporary tattoos. I can think of lots of fun dragon-themed goodies! If you’re interested in that, please let me know. I’ll list that option when I can show you the swag. These kinds of bundles work best if there are at least 50 people interested. Talk to me about it!

 

Those Hardcover Collectors’ Editions

YAY! The books arrived!

I received copies of these new hardcover editions of my books and they’re so pretty. Each volume includes an entire series – the first two are The Rogues of Ravensmuir and The Jewels of Kinfairlie.

Here are the actual copies. The slipcovers are matte paper, so they photographed a little darker than they appear in real life.

They’re about three inches thick. The books themselves are bound in blue cloth, with the title on the spine in gold.

The interiors are printed on cream paper, and are laid out the same way as the individual books, with illuminated caps on the chapters.

And in the back, the family trees for Ravensmuir, Inverfyre and Kinfairlie are included.

The books are made individually and to order by Ingrams Book Services, so your copy will have to be made for you. You can order them at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and at other booksellers. If you’d like a signed copy, you can order it from my online Selz store.

Here’s a new thing from me – Collectors’ Editions of my books. These are clothbound hardcover editions with an entire series included in each volume. They’d also be good choices for libraries.

This year’s titles are The Rogues of Ravensmuir Collectors’ Edition and The Jewels of Kinfairlie Collectors’ Edition.

In The Rogues of Ravensmuir Collectors’ Edition, you’ll find The Rogue, The Scoundrel, and The Warrior, as well as family trees for Kinfairlie, Inverfyre and Ravensmuir.

They’re going to be thick books as the type hasn’t been shrunk down for the interiors. The interiors are the same as the new editions for the included books, so these volumes are close to 900 pages.

I’m waiting for my copies and will share some more photographs and the ordering info once they arrive.

Signed Book Bundles

The Crusader's Handfast, #5 in the Champions of Saint Euphemia series of medieval romances by Claire DelacroixI’ve put together series bundles of print books in my online store and priced them at a discount. This is a good way to get a whole series in matching editions and formats, and to have them signed, too. Each series bundle comes with a free tote bag.

All prices in the store are in Canadian dollars, so there’s a discount in the currency conversion for those of you south of the border. I think the Canadian dollar is worth about 75 cents US these days, which looks like a 25% discount to me.

We also pack each order from the store with postcards and other goodies.
