Dragon’s Heart Publication Date

Dragon's Heart, book 3 of the DragonFate series of paranormal romances by Deborah CookeIf you pre-ordered Rhys and Lila’s book, you might have had a notification from your portal of choice that the publication date for Dragon’s Heart has been delayed. Events of this spring really trashed my ability to write and that’s put me behind schedule. I’m working well now, but still need to make up that delay.

I believe the book will be done in a week, so technically, it could be uploaded and published on the 22nd. I don’t want to bypass proofreading on it, though, as there are so many details to pull together. (There are a lot of dragon shifters on the stage!) So, I’ve added three weeks to the schedule, and booked two proofreaders. I’m aiming to have everything locked and loaded with time to spare. The paperback should be available a little sooner than the ebook, too.

I’ll dive right into Dragon’s Mate to get Hadrian’s story done on time, then we should be back on track.

Thanks for your patience. I think you’re going to love this book. I do!

One Hot Summer Night Publication Date

I’ve changed the publication date on One Hot Summer Night, essentially because Lexi and Gabe haven’t been very cooperative. As is so often the case when the characters change the story, their version is much better than mine. Their change does, however, leave me a bit in the dark – I have to run along after them, writing forward and back. It takes longer to get the book written this way, but the result will be a stronger story. I’ve learned over the years to trust troublesome characters. 🙂 I apologize for the delay, but am sure we’ll all love the finished story more than the planned one.

October 16 is the new publication date.
