July Signed Book Giveaway

Last month, I celebrated the publication of Addicted to Love, by giving away a signed print copy of Simply Irresistible. Simply Irresistible is a contemporary romance and the first book in my Flatiron Five series and Addicted to Love is the second. The winner was Kate.

The Countess, book #4 of the Bride Quest series of medieval romances by Claire DelacroixThis month, I’m celebrating the re-publication of the Bride Quest as a single series with brand new covers. The new edition of The Princess will be an August release, The Damsel will be a September release and The Heiress will be an October release. The Countess and The Beauty are already available in their shiny new editions, and The Temptress will be republished this month.

This month’s prize book is a signed print copy of the new edition of The Countess. In this story, Eglantine leaves all she knows in France and moves to a remote holding in Scotland in the hopes of giving her daughters a better future—she doesn’t expect to find one for herself, but then there’s Duncan. 🙂

The biggest move I’ve been involved in, was probably when we had to be packed in two days due to some double crossing people who took advantage of some money trouble. we weren’t sure where we were gonna go but we did thankful spend time at various friends and family / hotel etc places till we found a place of our own. But it was hectic and crazy and sad as it was going all through my senior year of high school on top of that.

    • Nope, never made any huge moves. Biggest thing was marrying at 19 and moving about 20 miles away from home. I might add that we celebrated our 34th anniversary this past May.

  2. As a military spouse, I’ve made many moves from CA to Okinawa Japan and then to Naples Italy until finally landing in the south of our own beautiful country.

  3. I’ve made several moves in my life. As a relatively new high school graduate I moved several hundred miles from home for a job in a large city where l met my husband. We proceeded to then move four times, practically across country, till finally landing in NM where I’ve the longest in any one place.

  4. I’ve moved 9 times since I married, only once to another state. Mainly for cheaper rent, or closer to job.
    After 11 years of marriage then we bought our forever home.

  5. My husband and I moved from Cedar Creek, TX (near Austin) to Livingston, TX. He had already retired, and I had to retire due to my health. It is a much easier, laid-back life here near the lake. He is gone, but I still enjoy the hummingbirds, egrets, large rabbits, and squirrels that come to visit my yard.

  9. I haven’t really made a big move, but I have made an extended visit before of several months from the US to India for health reasons. I learned a lot about different cultural perspectives.

  10. Moved from Michigan to southern Arizona for work. Knew no one, am nowhere near family – I certainly don’t love it here but I have made do, found a few friends and have had fun (as well as spending a boatload of money on airfare, lol). Hope to move back East in a couple of years.

  11. I wanted to enter the competition but I’m afraid I’ve never moved very far and have lived in a close triangle of places for most of my life. I travel through the books I read. I did move from England to Ireland when I was five and a half years old but that move was down to my parents of course. Good luck with the books.

  12. Have just recently moved back to my “home” state and city after living away for 20 years. Don’t regret the move away from my home as it gave me new opportunities but oh it’s good to be home.

  13. I’ve never made a big move. I’m a native New Yorker and have moved several times within the state. I’m not a fan of the process. It’s a lot of work.

  16. I’ve moved about 12 times in my life. Twice from Jamaica to the US, the last time was with three young children and 8 suitcases. I’ve move the opposite direction also as well as a short move to Haiti for a couple of years. Most moves are huge, but my final move was to move to my current home and my new husband at the time gave me only 2 days notice to pack up my townhouse, furniture and children. We moved everything 50 miles in one evening. Thank God I won’t be going anywhere ever again!

  17. I am a rare native Californian who moved to Ontario, Canada in the 80s! My kids were just into high school, junior high and one in elementary school and I wanted to raise them the rest of the way in a small town atmosphere. We lived in a town of about 4500 people in the winter, however, it grew to many thousands more in the summer. I lived there for about 6 years before moving back to sunny California!!

  18. No big moves. I have lived in the town where I went to high school since I graduated. If I moved, I would have to hire a moving van for all of my “boxes of books”. Don’t want to do that!

  23. When I was 20 I really wasn’t into college so I joined the Air Force and did my training in San Antonio Texas then was stationed bin Alaska. I’ d never been away from home on my own and people told me I’ d never make it through basic training. I did 4 and a halif years in the Air Force and Alaska is where I happened to meet my husband. We’ all celebrate our 25th in September.

  24. In 1989, I moved from Brisbane, Queensland, to a cattle property outside Roma, in Western Queensland. I packed up my two boys (10 and 5), the house and 8 horses (including a stallion) and moved approximately 350 miles, when I was offered a jilleroo position out there. My then husband had decided to go and live with his girlfriend, who owned her own house. It was fantastic for my boys: they learned to ride motor bikes, muster and brand cattle and all sorts of things. Even though we don’t live there anymore, the boys often go out there with their families to “help out”.

  25. I made 4 moves for graduate school or jobs to other provinces and cities in Canada when I was younger, but have stayed put in one city for a number of years now. My recent changes have been within that city – I’ve bought a house, made some renovations to it, married, renovated the house some more, had a daughter, renovated some more, bought a bungalow and converted it into an office (marvelling that it hadn’t burned down due to the ancient electrical system), done landscaping at both my home and my office building, separated, renovated both my home and my office building some more….

  26. My last move was from Bastrop TX to Livingston TX. Husband was retired, and I had to quit work due to health issues, so we moved to this smaller community for an easier, laid back life style.

  28. I moved around Maryland but the Big move was to Mississippi. I miss country but I do not miss the ice. Probably have one move left hopefully back away from the city.

  29. We moved a number of times when I was a kid for new jobs and to go back to school, and we moved once across town, because my parents bought a home. Since I’ve been married, we moved out of town once for a new job and from there to another state for a job location transfer. We moved back to where we’d lived when we got marriage for a change in jobs. Our final move was across town when we bought a home, and we’ve been here ever since.

  32. I moved from England to Ontario, to teach. After 17 years in Ontario I moved to British Columbia and taught here for ten years and am now living on a small farm.

  33. I joined the Army 1977, at 18, and moved many times over 8 years. The longest move however was from Ft. Devens, Massachusetts to Camp Casey, Korea. I watched the sun set for over 20 hours in the 2nd leg of traveling. I lived there for one year, most of it under Martial Law.

  34. My family was in the military and moved a couple of times in the US but I moved while I was married , move from Mississippi to Indianan the back to Mississippi a year later. Thank you for the chance in this giveawy 🙂

  35. Moved 45 minutes away from family for a new start. Lasted as long as the lease! Moved closer when lease was up.
