Thanks to everyone who picked up a copy of my time travel romance, The Last Highlander, for just 99 cents at Amazon US yesterday, or 99p at Amazon UK. Right now, the book is riding high – it was at #31 overall paid this morning, and is at #32 right now.
But, even better, it’s #1 in Scottish romance, #1 in Historical romance, AND my author rank is #1 in Historical romance. That might be a first.
What’s definitely a first is that I’m also Most Popular Author #3 and #4 in Historical romance, because this particular title, The Last Highlander, is linked to both of my other author names. It was originally published as a Claire Cross book.
And this made me laugh. The bots don’t realize that I’m all three authors, although someone will figure it out and fix it. For the moment, it’s a good chuckle.

Deborah, I get my books for my iPad from iBooks. Does this mean I can’t get The Last Highlander?

Unfortunately, it does, Janet. The Last Highlander is currently enrolled in KDP Select, which means it’s only available at Amazon for the moment. It’ll be on iBooks again soon, probably in the new year.
