The Renegade’s Heart

And now, (finally!) a new Claire Delacroix medieval! First in a new series called The True Love Brides, THE RENEGADE’S HEART picks up the story where we left off at Kinfairlie.

This is Isabella’s book.

Isn’t the cover wonderful? Thanks again to Eithne!

THE RENEGADE’S HEART is available digitally from Amazon, Smashwords, All Romance eBooks, and will perk through to B&N, Sony, Apple, KOBO, Diesel, and Scrollmotion. (I’ll add the links as they go live.) It will also soon be available in a trade paperback edition from Createspace and from other outlets. (You can also ask your local bookstore to order the trade paperback for you.) Finally, I updated the excerpt on my site, so it’s the edited text – check it out right here.

I’m pretty excited to be finishing this series, and publishing my first medieval romance since 2005. Woo HOOO!

  1. Deb, this is sooooo exciting and I’m waiting for the pb, and if I don’t see it for sale at B&N I’m requesting it, I’m also making sure my library branches have it too.

    • Thanks Deb – The trade paperback will be a teensy bit delayed. Both my editor and my cover artist had hard drive crashes during the production of this book, and Eithne is still getting her box fixed. Until she’s back, she can’t finish the cover for the trade paperback. (Now that I have the final page count, she needs to adjust the width of the spine.) So, think good thoughts about Eithne’s mac in the shop!

Once it’s done and proofed, I’ll put it through extended distribution. The trade paperback WILL be available at B&N but it will just take a bit of time. 🙂

    • Thanks Diana – did you see my earlier post about changing this cover? The final cover is absolutely perfect, although the original was very good too.

  2. So the trade PB will be added to B&N later? I’ll hold off on ordering it from Amazon if so – have a B&N membership.

    • Yes, Rebecca. It be available at B&N, but the distribution takes longer. I’ve noticed that the trades appear on Amazon within the week, but can take 4 – 6 weeks to show up on the B&N site. Not sure why, but that’s how it is.

The digital version of TRH went to B&N, KOBO and Apple on Friday, so should be available on all of those sites in about two weeks. Maybe sooner.

      Fingers crossed!
