Back Covers

One of the things that’s a bit frustrating right now at my end is that there are so many wonderful things in the works – but I can’t tell you all about them just yet. So, hold tight, and I’ll share news as I can.

Today, I thought I’d show you the back covers of the new print editions of my books. You don’t get to see these on the websites (either mine or the online booksellers) and you won’t likely find the books in stores. But I like the back covers, too, so let’s do some show and tell.

First off, the Rogues of Ravensmuir. The back cover copy was composed as if the heroine was writing to the reader, so we decided to make it look like a medieval letter. (And yes, these are the proofs, so the “signature” of Aileen’s on THE WARRIOR is in the wrong font. All fixed now.)

Next up, the linked series, the Jewels of Kinfairlie. I really like – and this is silly, but there you go – the little thumbnail of the cover for “The Ballad of Rosamunde” on the back cover of THE SNOW WHITE BRIDE. The short story is included in that volume, so the picture is there. I just think it’s cute.

Next up, the Bride Quest II, or the Scottish Bride Quest. These have lovely Celtic borders on the back cover copy. (We’re getting flash, you see.)

And finally, my first two time travel romances back in print. The flash on the camera is making this hard to see, but they both have dreamy Scottish castles behind the back cover copy. Beautiful!

So there’s my show and tell! What do you think?

    • Thanks Kimi – I think it’s so cool to be able to talk directly with the artist. I explain what I want or what I’m thinking to Eithne, we bounce around a few ideas, then she goes off and makes MAGIC. It’s so fun!

Watch for my post called Don’t Lose Your Head, which is about more of Eithne’s magic…
