Deborah, I’m already a member in waay to many places so thought I’d leave my review here. I LOVED IT! You got sixteen-year-old character to actually sound sixteen. The plot line was very well done and the side remarks were so snarky and realistic for her that you just nailed it perfectly. Can’t wait to get my hands on Winging It!!
I am a huge fan of the dragonfire series! I will also read the dragon diary series as well. What I am wondering is, will you continue with the dragonfire series or is Rafferty’s story the last? I sure hope it is not the last.
No, Rafferty isn’t last. We just put the FLYING BLIND excerpt in the back of his book to introduce Dragonfire readers to the YA series. FLASHFIRE is Dragonfire #7 and it will be out in January 2012 – I’m just waiting on final cover art to share it with everyone (and reveal the hero’s name!) Dragonfire #8 is scheduled for October 2012 but doesn’t have a title yet. I’m hoping for more after that, but that’s what’s contracted and scheduled right now.
Glad you’re enjoying the series! Thanks for getting in touch!

Well you need at least two more Deb!! There were three with Kiss of ? as the title, three with ? Kiss, and now you’re using only one word so there needs to be three of them as well!! And I hope that makes sense to someone besides me!
LOL DJ. Titles are so hard. I’m usually just relieved that we finally find one – I’m often at the point of just calling it ANOTHER BOOK and being done with it.
Well, hey, I did have a valid point!! After all there was Kiss of Fire, Fury, and Fate. Then we had Winter, Whisper, and Darkfire Kiss. We can’t have just one Flashfire kind of title!! There needs to be two more single word titles with Fire in them to make the set match.

Ahhhhhhh, DJ! Don’t add more rules to the title game, please. You have a point, but I just want to write the books.
Titles, in case you haven’t guessed, make me crazy. (Okay, you can make goofy noises here to help illustrate! LOL!)
